The Lakeside library is excited to be able to serve more of our community, with the expansion of our hours: The new library hours effective April 11, 2022 are:
Monday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm ▪ Tuesday: 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm ▪ Wednesday and Thursdays: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm ▪ Friday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm ▪ Saturday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm ▪ Sunday: Closed
The Library has an extensive Digital Library available at sdcl.org and new customers can get a digital library card on our website.

We are currently seeking volunteers to work in the bookstore. An application with contact information needs to be completed. Lakeside Friends of the Library meets the second Wednesday of the month at 6:00 p.m., at the Lakeside library. All members are welcome to attend.
Mission Statement
The Lakeside Friends of the Library strives to encourage literacy, lifelong learning, and the love of reading throughout our diverse community. The purpose is to build and maintain an association of persons interested in the library, its services, facilities, and needs. We seek to enhance the library’s resources, increase the community’s access to information and knowledge, and provide a vibrant cultural gathering place. We are a volunteer-based, non-profit organization 501(C)(3) who believes that a vital and attractive library is essential to our community.
