Friends of the Lakeside library is a group of volunteers that support many activities and events for the Lakeside library. The Friends of the Library have worked hard to raise funds to meet the needs of the new Lakeside Library.

Lakeside is excited to have a new bookstore in town. It is conveniently located inside the new library at 12428 Woodside Ave., Lakeside, 92040

The community will enjoy all the benefits the bookstore has to offer with hundreds of gently used books and other items for sale at a modest price.

• Children’s, teens, and adults’ selections
• Mysteries, science fiction, art, crafts, gardening, biographies, classics
• History, vintage, music and more
• Sheet music for violin, piano, fiddle, and guitar
• DVD’s
• Puzzles and special items

Become a member of the Lakeside Friends of the Library to receive any discounts, promotions and specials which are only available to its members. Yearly membership is very affordable, with individual, seniors, and family plans. Sign up now on our website https://www.lakesidecafriends.org/help-the-lakeside-friends , or pick up an application in the bookstore.

Want to volunteer in the Bookstore? We are currently seeking volunteers to work in the bookstore.  An application with contact information needs to be completed. The staff at the Lakeside library will give you a San Diego County application so they can conduct a background check. This is a great way to give back to our wonderful community of Lakeside, and enjoy helping others with finding the perfect books.
