  • Retired from Lakeside Union School District in 2009 as an account-clerk for the food service department, worked there for over 20 years.
  • Joined the Woman’s Club of Lakeside in January 2014, very active with Veterans Committee and Children Art Show and whatever they have going which is a LOT.
  • Active member f the Lakeside Historical Society.
  • Member of the V.F.W. Woman’s Auxiliary Post 5867.

  • Was Assistant Principal of Lakeside Middle School.
  • Taught grades K-8 in the Lemon Grove School District, and teacher education courses at San Diego State University.
  • Master of Arts in Reading with a Reading Specialist Credential, and a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership with a focus on Science Education.
  • Passion is collaborating with community partners to empower students, families, and teachers to create optimal learning opportunities for Lakeside youth.
  • On the Board of Directors for the Lakeside Chamber of Commerce and enjoys investing time in community events with people who care about Lakeside.
  • She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and family pugs.

  • Dental Assistant 1975-1986. Worked for Dr. Sperber who was also a Forensic Odontologist.
  • PTA and classroom volunteer while my son was in Lakeside schools.
  • Lakeside School District- operated a computer program for the students, implemented the network and technology, trained teachers and staff in many areas of technology, and created the district and school websites. Technology liaison between the Lakeside School district and the San Diego County Office of Education. Wrote the LUSD technology plan. Retired in September 2012 after 24 years.
